Integration of Speech and Language Skills, A Trauma Informed Approach

Hello Friends,

As we navigate these changing times, I see this as an opportunity to reflect and review the processes we are using to provide Speech and Language Services to students. Some people have never worked with children in their homes. This is new territory. Together as a collaborative team we can discuss and develop the best way to do this, including and empowering parents to become a more active part of the team. This doesn’t mean they have more to do, this means they have more understanding and power to make decisions that they need to make throughout the day to interact most effectively with their children.

The coaching process is an empowerment process. Below you will find my brochure which outlines the services I provide. This is a process that supports teams to become Trauma Informed and Empowered.
